We focus on new media. It's more fun than "new math" and more refreshing than "new Coke."

What’s new media? And if it isn’t new, is it old? Here at Pink Collar, we divide media not into old and new, but traditional and new, also known as emerging and futuristic. Our company’s niche is the interplay between these two marketing platforms. Instead of working within a single medium, we combine them in unique ways to create engaging tools for your use.

We define a traditional medium as one that is established in a culture. One that can reach all demographic targets at some level. Examples include any print vehicle sent through snail mail, your corporate collateral such as brochures and business cards, and advertising in magazines or newspapers, to name a few. A new medium is one that is not advanced enough in its development to be widely accepted. New media can of course be more technologically advanced than its traditional counterparts, so it’s worth stating that “advanced” refers to a medium’s spread throughout a society, not its level of complexity. Examples are websites, blogs, podcasts, and enewsletters. Still have questions? Sign up for KNOW + TELL, our weekly enews that keeps you on the cutting edge.
